On July 9, HYBE LABELS marked a proud moment as 13 of its artists were officially invited to join The Recording Academy\u2019s class of 2025. The news came as part of the academy\u2019s announcement that nearly 3,600 new members from around the world would be welcomed this year. For HYBE, it\u2019s another sign of the global recognition its artists continue to earn across genres and generations.<\/p>\n
Among those invited is LE SSERAFIM\u2019s Huh Yunjin, known for her strong vocals and creative input in her group\u2019s music. TXT\u2019s Yeonjun, often called the \u201c4th-gen IT boy\u201d for his influence and versatility, also made the list. ENHYPEN\u2019s leader Jungwon became the youngest male K-pop idol to receive this honor, standing out at just 21 years old.<\/p>\n
SEVENTEEN\u2019s Woozi and Vernon were both included as well, each boasting over 100 songwriting credits and being recognized members of Korea\u2019s official music copyright association, KOMCA. Girl group KATSEYE made headlines with all six of its members being invited, a big achievement for a rookie group making waves internationally.<\/p>\n
Singer-songwriters Zico and Bumzu, both respected names in the industry, were also recognized for their work. Alongside the artists, HYBE producers Slow Rabbit, Supreme Boi, and Wonderkid were included too, showing the company\u2019s broad influence not just in performance but also in music production.<\/p>\n
Joining the Recording Academy comes with real benefits. Members get access to a global network of music professionals, chances for collaboration, and a say in the future of the music industry. Most notably, they gain the ability to submit work for GRAMMY consideration through the academy\u2019s Online Entry Process (OEP). To be part of that, the invitees must accept their invitation by July 31.<\/p>\n
