But that changed in a big way last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1239\">In 2024, Pierce had a breakout campaign, recording 824 receiving yards on just 34 catches, an eye-popping 22.3 yards per reception, the highest mark in the NFL. He also led the Colts in receiving yards and touchdowns (7), proving his ability as a deep-threat weapon.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1477\">His surge came at a crucial time, especially after the Colts added rookie wideout Adonai Mitchell in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Rather than shy away from the competition, Pierce thrived under pressure and elevated his game.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1651\">If he continues this upward trajectory, Pierce could command a strong deal when he hits free agency after the 2025 season. But for now, the 24-year-old is staying grounded.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1931\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Rather than get caught up in contract chatter, Pierce is locked in on continuing his growth and helping the Colts make a playoff run.
