Among their top selections was offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo, drafted in the second round out of Boston College.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"320\" data-end=\"603\">With Trapilo now in the mix, some veterans could be at risk of losing their starting spots, including left tackle Braxton Jones. Jones has been a steady presence since being drafted in 2022 and has started 40 games over the past three seasons. But this year, things are different.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"856\">According to Bears insider Bryan Perez, Jones is facing a tough battle in training camp. Not only is he coming off a fractured ankle he suffered last December, but he\u2019s also trying to fend off a highly regarded rookie who\u2019s eager to make his mark.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1132\">Jones is entering the final year of his rookie deal, and the team might not hesitate to turn to a younger, healthier option if Trapilo proves ready.
