The Las Vegas Raiders opened their 2025 training camp on Wednesday, and fans were surprised to see some unexpected names lining up with the starting offense. During the team\u2019s first 11-on-11 session, wide receivers Dont\u2019e Thornton, Tre Tucker, and Jakobi Meyers were running with the first-team offence.<\/p>\n

This early pecking order came as a surprise because many expected Jack Bech, the Raiders\u2019 second-round draft pick, to be one of the starters. Instead, Bech was working with the second team, at least for now.<\/p>\n

Thornton, a fourth-round rookie, and Tucker, now in his third year, are both known for their speed and ability to stretch the field. Pairing them with Meyers, who is the team\u2019s most proven receiver, and star tight end Brock Bowers gives the Raiders a lot of potential to create big plays down the field.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s only the first day of camp and depth charts can shift quickly, it\u2019s clear that the coaching staff is open to experimenting with different combinations.
