Maine shooting suspect, who was identified as U.S. Army reservist, was found dead Friday evening \u2013 apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot \u2013 after two-day manhunt, a state official said. He was accused of killing 18 people in a shooting at bowling alley and restaurant, and also injured 13 others.<\/p>\n
Robert Card, accused on committing Wednesday massacre, was found dead around 7.45 p.m. near Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls area, which is around ten miles from Lewiston, state Public Safety Commissioner Michael Sauschuck told reporters.<\/p>\n
Maine Governor Janet Mills said she is \u201cbreathing a sigh of relief tonight knowing that\u2026 Card is no longer a threat to anyone.\u201d She added that the city and state now begins on a long road to healing. \u201cNow is a time to heal.\u201d<\/p>\n
A law enforcement source has revealed that Card\u2019s body was found from a recycling centre, from where he was recently fired, as per CNN.<\/p>\n
