So much so, she joked that her largest expenses were actually her drug costs, which she would disguise as luxury items for accounting purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Cyrus recounted how she and her team would refer to these expenses as \u201cvintage clothes\u201d to avoid suspicion. She laughingly added, \u201cAnd every time [my accountant] saw me, she\u2019d be like, \u2018Where\u2019s that, like, $15,000 original John Lennon T-shirt that you bought?\u2019 It\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s upstairs.\u2019\u201d Her tone might have been playful, but underneath was a clear recognition of the reckless financial and personal decisions she was making at the time.<\/p>\n<p>She reflected on that period with a sense of both awe and relief, saying, \u201cI\u2019m so glad I survived that time in my life.\u201d She clarified that while she doesn\u2019t glamorize that chapter, she\u2019s grateful for the experience, but wouldn\u2019t recommend that kind of lifestyle to anyone else. \u201cI would definitely not encourage anyone else to go this hard,\u201d she admitted, \u201cbut the fact that I got through it, I\u2019m very glad I got to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time Miley has spoken openly about her past drug use. In earlier interviews, she had previously admitted that during her younger days, she experimented with various substances, describing Hollywood as a \u201ccoke town\u201d but expressing a preference for weed and molly, which she described as \u201chappy drugs\u201d that made her feel social and open.<\/p>\n<p>However, she took a turn toward sobriety in 2017 when she got together with her then-husband Liam Hemsworth. At the time, she proudly shared that she had stopped smoking and had been entirely sober.
