So, it\u2019s finally June, which means Marvel<\/a>\u2019s long-awaited show Ironheart<\/em> is officially coming out this month on Disney+<\/a>. And wow, it\u2019s been a long<\/em> wait.<\/p>\n

Marvel first talked about making this show five years ago. Since then, the main character, Riri Williams, made her first appearance in the Marvel movies with Black Panther<\/a>: Wakanda Forever<\/em> back in 2022. Now, she\u2019s back, this time as the lead of her own series.<\/p>\n

In the story, Riri heads back to her hometown of Chicago after spending some time at the famous university MIT. She\u2019s not just bringing herself; she\u2019s also rocking a new high-tech suit. As she settles back in, she\u2019ll meet all kinds of interesting and wild characters, including a superpowered crime boss known as The Hood.<\/p>\n

This show is also important because it\u2019s the last Marvel TV show in what\u2019s known as Phase 5<\/em> <\/a>of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)<\/a>. The last movie in this phase was Thunderbolts<\/em>, and now Ironheart<\/em> is wrapping things up on the TV side.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s even compared Ironheart<\/em> to other popular Marvel projects like Daredevil: Born Again<\/em><\/a> and Doctor Strange<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
