However, Brad Pitt has recently expressed interest in teaming up with Cruise again, but he\u2019s set one condition.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <em>E! News<\/em> while promoting his upcoming racing film <em>F1<\/em>, Pitt shared that he\u2019d be open to working with Cruise, just not if it involves the kind of extreme stunts Cruise is famous for. Specifically, Pitt joked that he\u2019d only sign on \u201cif the stunts are on the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tom Cruise is well-known for doing many of his own dangerous stunts, especially in the <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em> and <em>Top Gun<\/em> franchises. His reputation for pushing physical limits was further cemented when he earned a Guinness World Record for performing 16 flaming parachute jumps during the filming of <em>Mission: Impossible 8<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>While both actors remain at the top of their game, it seems Pitt is happy to let Cruise take the high-flying risks; he\u2019ll keep things a bit more grounded.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"68500983ba4ac\"><strong>Brad Pitt jokes about not wanting to hang from airplanes with Tom Cruise<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>During a recent interview, <em>Wolfs<\/em> star Brad Pitt lightheartedly shared why he\u2019s hesitant about working with Tom Cruise again, especially when it comes to Cruise\u2019s extreme stunt style. When asked about the possibility of collaborating with Cruise, Pitt joked, \u201cWell, I\u2019m not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and shit like that,\u201d making it clear he\u2019s not signing up for any mid-air thrill rides.<\/p>\n<p>He added with a grin that he\u2019d be open to teaming up again, \u201cwhen he [Tom] does something on the ground, then yes\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pitt\u2019s upcoming film <em>F1<\/em>, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, is drawing buzz, especially since both creatives previously worked with Cruise on <em>Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>. Kosinski revealed that <em>F1<\/em> was in early development around the time <em>Top Gun: Maverick<\/em> was wrapping up. He had even hoped to cast both Pitt and Cruise together in <em>Ford v Ferrari<\/em>, but the budget didn\u2019t get studio approval. That film eventually went to Christian Bale and Matt Damon.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on what might\u2019ve been, Kosinski shared in an interview with <em>GQ<\/em> that both Pitt and Cruise are naturally gifted drivers.
