It will feature an ensemble of Marvel characters. Some of these characters have already been officially confirmed, while others are still just rumours floating around online.

Vision Quest is basically a follow-up to WandaVision, and this time, it’ll focus on the white version of Vision, you might remember him showing up at the end of WandaVision. The story will be based on a popular comic storyline with the same name. In the show, Vision will be on a personal journey where he tries to piece his life back together and get his memories back, kind of like figuring out who he really is after everything that’s happened.

As of now, Marvel hasn’t shared any trailers or sneak peeks, and no official footage from the show has been released yet. But don’t worry, filming is currently happening, so things are definitely moving along.

Thanks to some official Marvel announcements and leaks from trusted sources, fans already have a pretty good idea of which characters might show up, even if not all of them are 100% confirmed yet.

So yeah, Vision Quest is shaping up to be a big deal for Marvel fans, especially those who loved WandaVision. Stay tuned, because once we get a trailer or more updates, things are going to get even more exciting!

Every confirmed and rumoured character for the WandaVision sequel, Vision Quest

Paul Bettany as Vision – Confirmed

No shocker here, Paul Bettany is coming back as Vision. I mean, the show is literally about him, so of course he’s returning! This version of Vision is the white one we last saw in WandaVision, the one who flew off after unlocking some of his old memories.

The whole point of this new series is to explore what happens to him next, like, who is he now? Can he get his full memory and personality back? And what does that mean for his future in the Marvel universe? Fans have been waiting to see him again since 2021, so this is a pretty big deal.

James Spader as Ultron – Confirmed

Now here’s where things get really interesting: Ultron is back! Yup, the evil AI villain from Avengers: Age of Ultron, voiced by James Spader, is officially returning in Vision Quest.

At first, this was just a rumor floating around, but it got confirmed in April 2025 when another actor on the show spilled the beans. And honestly, this makes a lot of sense, because Ultron was the one who originally built Vision (before Tony Stark and Bruce Banner turned him into the good guy we know).

So expect some intense, complicated scenes between Vision and Ultron, old creator vs. creation vibes. This could go really deep emotionally and philosophically, too.

Faran Tahir as Raza – Confirmed

Okay, this one came out of left field! Faran Tahir is coming back as Raza, the terrorist leader from the very first Iron Man movie back in 2008. Yep, the same guy who kidnapped Tony Stark and basically kicked off the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If Vision Quest airs in 2026 as planned, that means it’ll be 18 years since Raza last showed up, and that’s a record in the Marvel world for the longest gap between appearances by a character.

Faran Tahir is also the one who confirmed James Spader’s return as Ultron, and he shared in April 2025 that filming is still underway. No one knows exactly what Raza’s role will be in the story, but the fact that he’s tied to the early roots of the MCU makes his return pretty exciting.

Ruaridh Mollica as “Tucker” – Confirmed

Actor Ruaridh Mollica has officially joined the cast of Vision Quest as someone named Tucker. But we think there’s a catch here. Marvel is known for using fake names to hide characters’ true identities before release. So, there’s a good chance “Tucker” might not be the character’s real name.

Right now, we know nothing about who Tucker is or what role he’ll play. He might be a brand-new character, or he could turn out to be someone important from the comics who’s just being kept under wraps for now. We’ll have to wait and see.

Todd Stashwick – Confirmed

Todd Stashwick is also officially part of the show, though Marvel hasn’t revealed who he’s playing. There’s a rumour going around that he could be playing a character called Paladin, who’s known in the comics as a bounty hunter-style guy, and in this case, he might be tracking Vision or his technology.

What’s extra interesting here is that the showrunner for Vision Quest, Terry Matalas, is the same person who ran Star Trek: Picard, a show that Stashwick starred in. So there’s a lot of creative chemistry already in place.

EDITH – Confirmed

You might remember EDITH, the artificial intelligence inside Tony Stark’s glasses, which Peter Parker used in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Well, EDITH is coming back in Vision Quest, but this time in human form.

She’ll be played by Emily Hampshire, best known from Schitt’s Creek. That’s a big change from the original voice of EDITH, Dawn Michelle King, who won’t be returning. We don’t know yet how or why EDITH has become human, but with all the tech and AI themes in Vision Quest, it could be a major part of the story.

JARVIS – Rumoured

And now for a juicy rumour: JARVIS might also be coming back!

Before Vision got his own body in Age of Ultron, JARVIS was Tony Stark’s helpful AI assistant, basically the voice in the Iron Man suit. But there’s another version of JARVIS too: the human version we briefly saw in Avengers: Endgame, working with Tony’s dad in the past.

Some insiders say James D’Arcy, who played the human JARVIS, might return in Vision Quest. It’s still not officially confirmed, but D’Arcy has hinted before that he’d be open to returning to the MCU, so there’s a solid chance we might see him pop up again in some way.

FRIDAY – Rumoured (Human Version!)

Remember FRIDAY, the AI Tony Stark used after JARVIS became Vision? She was kind of like Iron Man’s smart, calm voice assistant, super helpful in the suits.

Well, rumour has it that Kerry Condon, who originally voiced FRIDAY, might come back as a human version of the AI. Yeah, just like EDITH is becoming human in Vision Quest, FRIDAY might do the same.

If this happens, we could be seeing a whole storyline about AI becoming more human-like, which fits perfectly with what Vision is going through in the series.

Tommy Maximoff – Rumoured

Fans of WandaVision, this one’s for you! Insiders say Vision Quest will have a major co-lead, a white British male, about 18–20 years old. They didn’t name the character officially, but a lot of people think it might be Tommy Maximoff, Wanda and Vision’s super-speedy son from WandaVision.

Now, here’s the twist: if this is true, they’ll probably recast Tommy, meaning Jett Klyne, the original actor, might not come back, at least not in this version. But there’s still a chance the mystery co-lead is someone else entirely, and Klyne could still return if Tommy shows up in another way.

So basically, we might get grown-up Tommy or we might get both versions. Marvel’s keeping it vague as usual!

Vin – Rumoured

Here’s where it gets really comic-booky (but still cool). In the comics, when Vision tries to live a normal human life, he literally builds himself a family, including a son named Vin.

Vin is a synthezoid (like Vision), and he represents Vision’s attempt at being a dad and fitting in. Since Vision Quest is supposed to explore Vision’s journey toward rediscovering himself and maybe creating a new life, it would make total sense for Vin to show up.

We don’t know if Marvel is sticking close to the comics, but all signs point to “yes.”

Viv – Rumoured

And where there’s Vin, there’s usually Viv. Viv is Vision’s daughter, also a synthezoid, and she’s a big deal in the Marvel comics, especially in stories about younger superheroes.

Viv is even part of the Young Avengers in the comics. So if Marvel is slowly building toward a Young Avengers team (which they totally are), then Vision Quest could be her introduction.

So yeah, Viv might not just show up in this series, she might become a whole MCU superhero down the line.

[69
281,29317,1204,29316
post-76165","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-film","tag-marvel","tag-vision-quest","tag-wandavision","tag-wandavision-sequel
["GET
