Mel Brooks has officially confirmed that he\u2019s part of the upcoming Spaceballs<\/em> sequel! He made the announcement on Thursday, June 12, by posting on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple but exciting caption:<\/p>\n

\u201cI told you we\u2019d be back.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The post includes a funny video that mimics the famous Star Wars<\/em> opening scroll. It begins with:<\/p>\n

\u201cThirty-eight years ago, there was only one Star Wars trilogy\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Then the video jokingly lists all the sequels, spin-offs, and reboots that have come out since, not just from Star Wars<\/em>, but also from Dune, Alien, Harry Potter, and even the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The scroll pokes fun at how much Hollywood has changed, joking that there are \u201c36 MCU movies with two different Robert Downey Jrs.\u201d<\/p>\n
