Perhaps best capturing the sentiment, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick remarked, \u201cTravis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career \u2026 This would be the biggest.\u201d Ever since Kelce and Taylor Swift, affectionately dubbed \u201cTayvis\/Traylor,\u201d became an item, any discussion about his romantic life has come under intense scrutiny. In September, E! News reported that Kristin Cavallari appeared to express interest when she admitted to having a crush on America\u2019s beloved tight end during her podcast, \u201cLet\u2019s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari.\u201d In the same episode, she candidly confessed her feelings to Kelce, telling him she was \u201cin love with him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite being previously linked to country singer Chase Rice, Cavallari has been single and seemingly open to new connections since her divorce from NFL alum and former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. The show\u2019s premise was to help Kelce find love, though, as we now know, he didn\u2019t ultimately require assistance. Despite his initial connection with Maya Benberry, it wasn\u2019t a lasting match. \u201cYou were 100 percent my TV crush when the show was on,\u201d Cavallari shared with the NFL player. However, as of October, the \u201cVery Cavallari\u201d star is backtracking on her previous comments. She told E! News, \u201cWhat\u2019s so funny is everyone was like, \u2018Kristin was shooting her shot with Travis.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018I actually wasn\u2019t there.\u2019 If I really have a crush on someone, I\u2019m not gonna tell you I had a huge crush on you and was in love with you. In all fairness to Cavallari, she\u2019s certainly not the only celebrity to have developed a crush on Kelce. Speaking with People on October 24, he praised the singer as \u201cvery, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth.\u201d He went on to share a touching observation about Taylor, saying, \u201cI\u2019ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her\u2026 she gets up\u2026 and starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around\u2026 And I\u2019m just thinking, I don\u2019t think she got the diva memo.
