We won\u2019t be getting the fifth and final season of The Boys<\/em><\/a> this year, but we won\u2019t have to wait too long because, guess what, it\u2019s coming next year. But even though it\u2019s still far away, the actors are already giving us hints about what\u2019s coming.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with Deadline, Nathan Mitchell, who plays Black Noir, said that season 5 will surprise us. He said, \u201cThere are things coming in season 5 that you\u2019d never expect, not even if you were guessing with a bingo card!\u201d Basically, he means there will be unexpected and shocking things happening.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Antony Starr, who plays Homelander, said something interesting. He compared the show to an accordion (a musical instrument that stretches out and squishes back in). He said, \u201cThe last two seasons were like stretching the accordion out, setting up the story. Now season 5 is like squeezing it back in, bringing everything together.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said that season 4 was full of setup and clues that will all lead to a big, exciting ending in season 5. Right now, the team is busy filming that dramatic conclusion.<\/p>\n

Last year, before he even read the scripts, Jack Quaid (who plays Hughie) joked that season 5 would probably have \u201ca lot of murder\u201d because the writers can basically do anything they want. That\u2019s the kind of crazy and wild show The Boys<\/em> is.<\/p>\n

The Boys season 5 release date speculation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We don\u2019t know the exact release date for season 5 of The Boys<\/em> yet, but we do<\/em> know it\u2019s coming in 2026<\/strong>. This was confirmed by actor Karl Urban in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n

In the post, Karl shared a photo with his co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wrote:<\/p>\n

Working with the illustrious @jeffreydeanmorgan was the best part of my day every day. That\u2019s all @theboystv for now folks. See you in \u20262 years (wish it was sooner) for the final season on @primevideo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So yes, the final season will be here in 2026.<\/p>\n

This timeline makes sense because there were also two-year gaps between season 2 and 3, and then between season 3 and 4. So, this wait is nothing new for fans.<\/p>\n
