In the May 20, 2025 episode of Days of Our Lives<\/em>, JJ shows up with questions about Philip\u2019s recent beating. Kate suggests the attack might be tied to a work conflict involving Xander. Gabi also notices some tension brewing between the two brothers.<\/p>\n

After their conversation, Gabi\u2019s daughter Ariana arrives, and they share a heartfelt hug. Gabi then loses her temper at Javi over a messed-up flight and ends up firing him. Javi\u2019s response? A simple, \u201cFine.\u201d Later, Ariana tells her mom her flight was canceled and that Javi had texted about it. Ariana asks Gabi to apologize to him.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Chad learns about Philip\u2019s beating when he meets Leo at The Spectator<\/em> office. Over at the DiMera mansion, Paulina visits after a call from EJ. EJ wants her to talk to Chanel and persuade her son Johnny not to cut him out of their lives. Paulina reminds EJ of the time he tried to get her kicked out as mayor, but EJ says he\u2019s focused on making things right with his kids and giving Chanel the family she deserves.<\/p>\n

Before leaving, EJ tells Paulina he\u2019ll never give up on his son and would \u201cdie for him.\u201d Chad then walks in and confronts EJ, asking if he had anything to do with Philip\u2019s beating, which EJ denies.<\/p>\n

Back with Gabi and Ariana, Gabi promises to apologize to Javi when he returns, and their conversation turns to Ariana\u2019s upcoming birthday plans.<\/p>\n

Later, during a podcast chat, EJ asks Chad if he and Cat have gone on a date yet. They haven\u2019t, but Chad jokes that they went skydiving, teasing Cat about being afraid of heights. EJ advises Chad not to get nervous.<\/p>\n
