Recently, he showed strong support for his wife, Chrissy Teigen, who has been courageously battling alcoholism. Chrissy, who is also the author of <em>Cravings<\/em>, opened up about her journey toward sobriety in a heartfelt social media post on May 16.<\/p>\n<p>In response, John Legend, known for his hit song <em>All of Me<\/em>, left a loving comment on her post, saying, \u201cAlways proud of you.\u201d His words were a touching reminder of how much he stands by her during this challenging time.<\/p>\n<p>But the encouragement didn\u2019t stop with John. Chrissy\u2019s post attracted a flood of positive and supportive comments from friends and fellow celebrities. Demi Lovato, who has also been open about her own struggles, wrote, \u201cYour honesty and vulnerability is so commendable. I learned it\u2019s about progress, not perfection! You are doing amazing and I\u2019m so very proud of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Actress Jamie Pressley added her own heartfelt message: \u201cI hear you loud and clear and I am proud of you and I love you old friend. Your pure and total honesty is a breath of fresh air always.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chrissy is a devoted mother to four children\u2014Luna (9), Miles (6), Esti (2), and Wren (22 months)\u2014all shared with John Legend. In her post, she revealed that although she began her sobriety journey four years ago, she had slipped back into drinking. She shared a photo holding the book <em>Quit Like a Woman<\/em> by Holly Whitaker, which she credits for changing her perspective on alcohol and its harmful effects.<\/p>\n<p>Chrissy expressed deep regret about letting alcohol back into her life and feeling like she had disappointed many of her supporters.
