Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra\u2019s love story may have felt like a fairy tale to the world, but for Nick, it was very real\u2014and very fast. The Camp Rock<\/em> alum recently opened up about his relationship with the Bollywood-turned-Hollywood superstar during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em>, offering sweet glimpses into how quickly their romance went from casual to committed.<\/p>\n

Talking about his current life, Nick shared that his daughter Malti Marie\u2014who just turned 3\u2014accompanied him for her very first TV taping. Balancing work and parenting has been tricky, he admitted, with both he and Priyanka juggling packed schedules. But even with the chaos, he\u2019s sure about one thing: Priyanka was \u201cthe one\u201d from the start<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Nick revealed that the two were friends for about a year before things turned romantic. And once they started dating, everything moved quickly. \u201cWe were engaged in about two months,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd married within another three or four months.\u201d Clearly, when you know, you know<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During the show, hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos\u2014longtime friends of Nick\u2014chimed in with their own memories. They recalled nervously hosting the couple for dinner back when Nick and Priyanka were just dating. The Jonas star admitted he was just as anxious not to make a bad impression. According to the hosts, even their usually unruly kids were on their best behavior that night\u2014a rare sight in their home.<\/p>\n

Now married for over six years, the Jonas-Chopra family is building their life together while hopping between continents. Malti Marie has started nursery school in New York, where the family is based for now as Nick performs in the musical The Last Five Years<\/em>. Priyanka, meanwhile, continues to travel back and forth to India for film shoots, doing her best to be present for both family and career.<\/p>\n

Fans affectionately call the couple NickYanka<\/em>, but in true Priyanka fashion, she\u2019s joked that she prefers the cheekier nickname \u201cPrick.\u201d<\/em> (Yep, really.)<\/p>\n

The power duo recently turned heads at the Met Gala, where they nailed the Superfine: Tailoring Black Style<\/em> theme with matching, polished looks. It was one of their rare but fabulous date nights\u2014and they totally owned the red carpet.<\/p>\n

Though their lives may seem jet-set and glamorous, Nick and Priyanka are clearly all about staying grounded\u2014with each other and with Malti by their side.
