Speaking to <em data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"533\">Vanity Fair<\/em>, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"707\">\n<p data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"707\">\u201cI miss my friends and would love to work with them again, but Black Widow\u2019s story is complete. I don\u2019t want to mess with that\u2014it\u2019s important for the fans too.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"866\">Even though she loves the Marvel cast, Johansson said it wouldn\u2019t make sense to bring her character back after such a powerful ending in <em data-start=\"846\" data-end=\"865\">Avengers: Endgame<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"868\" data-end=\"1040\"><strong data-start=\"868\" data-end=\"881\">Fun Fact:<\/strong> Scarlett wasn\u2019t the first choice to play Natasha Romanoff! The role was originally offered to <strong data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"991\">Emily Blunt<\/strong>, who turned it down due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1092\" data-end=\"1317\">Johansson will next appear in the upcoming sci-fi action movie <strong data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1181\">Jurassic World Rebirth<\/strong>, directed by <strong data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1213\">Gareth Edwards<\/strong> and written by <strong data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1244\">David Koepp<\/strong>. She plays <strong data-start=\"1256\" data-end=\"1264\">Zora<\/strong>, a covert-ops expert, in this high-stakes adventure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1430\">The film also stars <strong data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1357\">Mahershala Ali<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1381\">Jonathan Bailey<\/strong> and is set to release in the U.S. on <strong data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1429\">July 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1698\">Talking about her role, Scarlett shared that the intense action scenes and storyline made her really rely on her instincts as an actor.
