She opened up about this on Jimmy Fallon\u2019s show recently. When Jimmy praised her for the nominations, she quickly shot back, \u201cI didn\u2019t win any of it!\u201d Jimmy tried to reassure her, saying, \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter,\u201d but Sof\u00eda wasn\u2019t having it \u2014 she insisted, \u201cIt matters.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sof\u00eda even playfully teased Jodie Foster, who did take home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her role in True Detective: Night Country<\/em>. Sof\u00eda joked, \u201cJodie Foster took everything. Yeah, but it doesn\u2019t matter.\u201d She also admitted she tried to steal Jodie\u2019s award right there at the Golden Globes, saying, \u201cI tried, I tried to stop her in the middle of the Golden Globes, but it was too late.\u201d<\/p>\n If you missed it, this hilarious moment went viral back in January. When Jodie went on stage to accept her award, Sof\u00eda stood up from her seat, walked over, and said, \u201cOh no, give me one!\u201d The cameras caught it all, and even Jodie Foster laughed and gave a shout-out to Sof\u00eda\u2019s funny antics during her speech.<\/p>\n When Jimmy asked if she plans to come back with more amazing performances and actually win next time, Sof\u00eda didn\u2019t hold back \u2014 she said she doesn\u2019t want to come back just to lose again.<\/p>\n She also shared that serious roles like Griselda are a lot tougher than the comedy work she\u2019s known for in Modern Family<\/em>.
