The panel is made up of 12 jurors\u2014eight men and four women\u2014with six alternates waiting in case they\u2019re needed. Combs faces serious charges including racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transporting individuals for prostitution. He was arrested late last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"453\" data-end=\"495\">Here\u2019s a quick look at some of the jurors:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"1632\">\n<li data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"615\">\n<p data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"615\"><strong data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"510\">Juror 2<\/strong>: A single white male actor living in Manhattan who also works as a massage therapist at luxury hotels.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"701\">\n<p data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"701\"><strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"629\">Juror 5<\/strong>: A young white male investment analyst who opposes the death penalty.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"778\">\n<p data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"778\"><strong data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"716\">Juror 25<\/strong>: A Hispanic male scientist who enjoys nature documentaries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"890\">\n<p data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"890\"><strong data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"793\">Juror 28<\/strong>: A Hispanic female supermarket clerk who relies mostly on word of mouth instead of news media.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"990\">\n<p data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"990\"><strong data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"905\">Juror 55<\/strong>: A Black woman working at a nursing home and a mother of two, living in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1094\">\n<p data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1094\"><strong data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1005\">Juror 58<\/strong>: A Black male supervising NYC Department accounts, who reads the New York Post and GQ.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1095\" data-end=\"1214\">\n<p data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1214\"><strong data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1109\">Juror 75<\/strong>: A retired Asian male former JP Morgan employee, married with a son, who loves cricket and volleyball.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1296\">\n<p data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1296\"><strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1230\">Juror 116<\/strong>: A white male living in Westchester with his wife and daughter.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1370\">\n<p data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1370\"><strong data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1312\">Juror 160<\/strong>: A Black male social worker and weekend security guard.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1453\">\n<p data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1453\"><strong data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1386\">Juror 184<\/strong>: A Black female physician living in Westchester with her family.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1538\">\n<p data-start=\"1456\" data-end=\"1538\"><strong data-start=\"1456\" data-end=\"1469\">Juror 201<\/strong>: A male senior logistics analyst who\u2019s unsure about Combs\u2019s guilt.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1632\">\n<p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1632\"><strong data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1554\">Juror 217<\/strong>: A retired Black female living in Manhattan who keeps up with current events.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1810\">The trial was originally scheduled to start earlier but was postponed by Judge Arun Subramanian to allow jurors more time to prepare and avoid second thoughts before the trial.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1812\" data-end=\"2083\">This trial is expected to last several weeks, with at least three or four accusers set to testify. One key witness will be Cassie Ventura, Combs\u2019s ex-girlfriend, who was the first to come forward with accusations of rape and assault during their decade-long relationship.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2250\">Adding to the public attention, a video surfaced showing Combs dragging and kicking Ventura in a hotel lobby, which is expected to be a significant part of the case.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2476\">Two jurors initially selected later decided to step down, leading to the final 12 jurors now in place.
