Speaking to <em>Hello Magazine<\/em>, Seward said, \u201cI think she might have been proud [and said], \u2018I\u2019m glad you said what you thought.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on <em>A Right Royal Podcast<\/em> on Saturday, May 10, Seward expanded on her view, stating that Diana appreciated honesty and admired people who stood by their convictions\u2014even when it came with consequences. \u201cShe liked to be upfront and express whatever she felt openly,\u201d Seward explained, \u201cand then she would deal with the consequences\u2014which is, of course, what happened to her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The comments came in the wake of Prince Harry\u2019s recent wide-ranging interview, which aired shortly after he lost another legal round in his ongoing court battle to reinstate government-funded security while in the UK. Ever since Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as senior working royals in 2020, the couple has had their full-time security detail removed. Now, protection is determined on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n<p>Buckingham Palace has maintained its position, backing the decision to deny Harry automatic security. In a public statement, the Palace noted that the matter was \u201cexamined repeatedly and meticulously\u201d by the court, which reached the same conclusion each time.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the tension, Prince Harry confirmed in an interview with BBC News that his relationship with his father, King Charles III, remains strained. According to Harry, the two have not been on speaking terms amid the ongoing legal disputes.
