Within just five weeks, she managed to sell and buy homes in both New York and Florida. Bethenny\u2019s previous house was huge\u2014a sprawling property with a historic charm, an apple orchard, and all the things perfect for a big family with kids and grandparents. But living there with just her daughter ended up feeling lonely. \u201cThe house was drowning me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Despite all the potential that beautiful house had, she spent a lot of time alone because she didn\u2019t know many people in the neighborhood. That loneliness was tough, and eventually, she realized she didn\u2019t want to live like that anymore. She wanted to simplify her life and focus on her mental peace.<\/p>\n Initially, Bethenny planned to wait until Bryn went off to college before making any major moves. But then a moment came where she saw that the situation was not only overwhelming her but also distracting her daughter\u2014something they both avoided saying out loud.
