Yes, Drake & Josh’s Josh Peck has officially entered the apocalypse.

In the fourth episode of Season 2, titled “Day One”, Peck appears in a flashback scene set in 2018, playing Janowitz, a FEDRA soldier stationed in the Seattle Quarantine Zone. The moment caught many off guard, especially given the dark, gritty tone of the show—and Peck’s comedic past.

Despite the brief screen time, Peck makes it count. His character holds court in the back of a military van, entertaining fellow soldiers with a disturbing yet oddly humorous story involving a misunderstanding over the word “disseminating.” What starts off as classic gallows humor quickly descends into something much more sinister. Janowitz recounts how fellow soldier Greenberg misheard the term, responded with violence, and coined the insult “Jizzboy” in a moment that managed to feel both absurd and chilling—exactly the kind of moral dissonance The Last of Us does so well.

But it’s what happens after the flashback that really drops jaws. The soldiers’ van is halted, and Jeffrey Wright’s character, Isaac Dixon, who had up until this point appeared to be a trusted leader, steps out… only to toss a grenade inside and lock the doors, coldly murdering his own men. The betrayal is swift, brutal, and leaves a haunting silence that lingers even as the show continues.

The unexpected guest spot and the grim twist have fans reeling, with many praising the show’s writing for weaving in powerful character beats even in seemingly minor flashbacks. As for Josh Peck—his cameo may have been short, but it’s already one of the most talked-about moments of the season.

Episodes of The Last of Us Season 2 are currently streaming on MAX (U.S.) and JioCinema/Hotstar (India). With each installment ramping up the intensity, one thing is clear: No one is safe, and nothing is predictable.

Just when you think The Last of Us can’t surprise you anymore, it throws another curveball—this time featuring a blink-and-you’ll-scream…

[67
24899
post-72891","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-celebrity-news","tag-josh-peck
["GET
