On Monday, Baldoni\u2019s legal team sent a letter to the judge, addressing a \u201cmotion to quash the Wayfarer Parties\u2019 Subpoena and for a protective order.\u201d They argued that Marvel hadn\u2019t tried to resolve the dispute in good faith. According to Baldoni\u2019s lawyers, when they tried to discuss the matter over the phone, Marvel\u2019s lawyers didn\u2019t cooperate and even interrupted their attempts to find common ground.<\/p>\n
The letter also pointed out that Marvel\u2019s counsel was mainly interested in figuring out what documents Baldoni\u2019s side \u201creally\u201d needed, instead of addressing the full scope of the subpoena, which demanded all documents related to both the creation and portrayal of the Nicepool character and Baldoni himself.<\/p>\n
