American tennis standout Jessica Pegula<\/strong> is ready to make her return to Roland Garros after missing last year\u2019s French Open. Ranked World No. 3, the 31-year-old star is heading back to Paris with her eyes set on winning her very first Grand Slam title.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Pegula gave fans reason to be hopeful by winning her first-ever title on clay at the Charleston Open, a big milestone that shows she\u2019s becoming more comfortable on the slower surface. That win gave her a nice boost heading into the clay-court season.<\/p>\n

But it hasn\u2019t all been smooth sailing. Injuries have been a concern, and they showed in recent tournaments, she wasn\u2019t able to make it past the second round in Madrid or Rome, two key warm-up events before the French Open. So, while she\u2019s returning with momentum, there are still some question marks about her fitness and form.<\/p>\n

Jessica Pegula has steadily climbed the ranks over the past few years and built a strong reputation as a consistent threat in major tournaments. Her best Grand Slam showing so far came at the 2024 US Open, where she reached the final but fell short against World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka.<\/p>\n
