While some early clips were shown at CinemaCon, the newly released teaser is completely different and offers a fresh look at the movie\u2019s eerie storyline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"744\">The teaser begins with a mysterious scene where a child leaves his home in the middle of the night, causing panic for his worried parents. A voice is heard saying, \u201cMr. Graff, I understand your concern\u2026 if it were my child, I\u2019d be asking questions too,\u201d while the camera shows a child\u2019s bedroom.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"959\">Another voice in the clip insists, \u201cThose kids left on their own. No one took them.\u201d After that, creepy visuals flash on the screen, showing children running around in their pajamas, adding to the unsettling vibe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"1098\">The film was originally planned for a release around Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, but the studio decided to move it up to August 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1529\">At CinemaCon, Zach Cregger described <em data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1146\">Weapons<\/em> as strange, full of surprises, and totally wild. The version of the teaser shown at the event included scenes of concerned parents at a PTA meeting demanding answers about their missing kids.
