The scene was shot just three days after Dever\u2019s mother passed away, making it an emotionally overwhelming experience for the actress.<\/p>\n

Co-creator Craig Mazin was particularly understanding, telling Dever, \u201cTake your time. Take all the time you need. While I care extraordinarily about the show, it\u2019s a TV show. I\u2019m not going to disrupt someone\u2019s grieving process.\u201d<\/p>\n
