Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are basking in the joy of newlywed life after their secret wedding in March 2025. The couple, who had been dating for a few years before confirming their marriage, recently shared their happiness and reflections on this new chapter during an interview at the NBCU Emmy Kick-Off Luncheon in Beverly Hills on April 11.<\/p>\n

Good spoke about how marriage has elevated their bond to a deeper level of commitment. She described it as \u201cincredible,\u201d acknowledging that while it feels different now that they have made a lifelong commitment to each other, it\u2019s also immensely fulfilling. \u201cWhen two people come together, they make the same choice and the same commitment,\u201d Good shared, emphasizing the sweetness of making that choice to be with someone wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on their relationship, she explained that she already felt like she had found \u201cmy person\u201d and that their partnership feels like a united front against the world. \u201cI know it\u2019s me and me against the world, whatever it may be,\u201d she added, underlining how much they rely on each other in every aspect of life.<\/p>\n

For Good, marriage is a profound step in any relationship, one that challenges them both to be the best versions of themselves. She remarked that the commitment in marriage is lifelong and unconditional, no matter the ups and downs life may bring. \u201cIt\u2019s a different type of commitment because it\u2019s lifelong, no matter what I\u2019m riding with you [until] the wheels fall off,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She also acknowledged that relationships, especially marriage, require effort, especially when partners come from different backgrounds. However, for Good, the choice to love someone unconditionally, through all of life\u2019s seasons, is a reflection of how God loves. She highlighted the importance of boundaries in relationships, yet emphasized that choosing to love without conditions is key to sustaining a strong marriage.<\/p>\n

Good was previously married to pastor DeVon Franklin until 2022, but her bond with Majors is a fresh new beginning, with both of them seemingly ready to navigate life\u2019s highs and lows together as husband and wife.<\/p>\n
