One standout performance came from Carrie Coon, whose character, humorously dubbed the “Blonde Blob,” had one of the most chaotic storylines of the season. From gossiping behind her friend’s back to delivering one of the most memorable monologues, and even sprinting away from a surprise shootout, her character’s journey was filled with wild twists and turns.

However, when it comes to her co-stars’ plotlines, Coon admits that she intentionally kept a bit of distance from them. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she revealed, “I intentionally kept a loose grip on the other stories so I could enjoy the show and my friends’ work.” She went on to explain that she tried to forget as much as she could about the storyline, joking that she wasn’t even sure whether her character’s friend Lochlan had survived the season or not. “I couldn’t remember if Lochlan died or not,” she laughed, making it clear that she wanted to focus on her own experience of the show rather than keeping track of everything happening around her.

Now that she’s caught up with the season, Coon has nothing but praise for her co-stars, especially Patrick Schwarzenegger. She had some thoughtful words to share about his character, Saxon, calling his “paradigm shift” a “beautiful” moment. Coon also emphasized that while Saxon may be a complex and difficult character, Patrick himself is quite different. “That’s not at all what Patrick is like. He’s a much more soulful human than his character,” she shared, highlighting the contrast between actor and role.

Coon also admitted she was a bit sad to see Piper’s storyline, where her character forms a relationship with Zion, come to an end. But beyond that, she also came to the defense of Jason Isaacs’ character, Tim, especially regarding the decision to not show the confrontation with the Ratliffs once they discover they’re broke. She explained that she felt it was the right choice, as it allowed the viewers to see Tim’s journey from a more spiritual perspective. “When you see that Timothy was on a spiritual journey the whole time, it made the rest of it worth it,” Coon said, reinforcing that the emotional depth of the character justified the way his storyline unfolded.

It’s clear that Coon had a deep connection to her work and her co-stars, and her reflections on the season only add to the appreciation of The White Lotus‘ ability to blend chaos, drama, and emotional depth in its storytelling.

The White Lotus season 3 delivered another unforgettable chapter for its fans, this time set in Thailand, with a whole…

[67
14612
post-68873","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-celebrity-news","tag-the-white-lotus
["GET
