It was her first prom, and I wanted it to feel real.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"1016\">While Benny had already been to prom twice\u2014once with friends and once with a girlfriend\u2014he said this one topped them all. \u201cMy favorite prom was with my partner,\u201d he said with a smile, drawing warm applause from the audience. He explained that Selena was unsure about how to prepare. \u201cShe was like, \u2018Wait, what do I wear? In a photo posted by the official Knicks account, the two looked cozy and in love\u2014Benny rested his hand on Selena\u2019s legs while she smiled, showing off her <strong data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1687\">marquise diamond engagement ring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1690\" data-end=\"1933\">Their relationship went public in December 2023, and they\u2019ve only grown closer since.
