Tom Hiddleston has officially confirmed he\u2019s reprising his role as Loki in Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>, much to the excitement of Marvel fans. The announcement marks the first time Hiddleston\u2019s character will reunite with Chris Hemsworth\u2019s Thor since Avengers: Infinity War<\/em>, where Loki tragically met his end in the opening scene.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with TikTok star Max Balegde, Hiddleston expressed his relief at finally being able to talk about it, admitting, \u201cIt\u2019s really remarkable, actually, that I can talk about it because mostly I\u2019m in a position of knowing and not being able to say anything.\u201d The actor reflected on his journey playing Loki, calling it \u201can extraordinary chapter\u201d in his career, and teased that it\u2019s far from over. This confirmation comes after his character\u2019s last appearance in the Disney+ series Loki<\/em>, where he took on the powerful role of the God of Stories. Now, he\u2019s officially returning to the main MCU timeline.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> is shaping up to be a star-studded affair with numerous Marvel actors making their return. Simu Liu, who made his debut as Shang-Chi in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings<\/em>, also confirmed his appearance in the film. In an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show<\/em>, Liu expressed his excitement, saying, \u201cWe are so excited to get back to work,\u201d though he also shared how secretive the production is. Liu admitted he had no idea which other actors would be involved until their names were revealed during a livestream event.<\/p>\n

In addition to the familiar faces, the film will also feature legendary X-Men<\/em> stars Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart, whose returns have left fans buzzing. Liu, who was clearly in awe, referred to them as \u201ctwo of the greatest actors to ever walk the face of the Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n
