Yet, the moment Philip left, Kate ominously reached into her purse\u2026 revealing a gun. Her muttered comment\u2014\u201dHe got what he deserved\u201d\u2014only fueled suspicion.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Philip wasted no time using the DiMera family\u2019s turmoil to his advantage, racing off to update Xander. Xander, ever the opportunist, was thrilled\u2014viewing EJ\u2019s shooting as the perfect chance to push forward his plans to bring down DiMera Enterprises.<\/p>\n
At the Kiriakis mansion, things weren\u2019t any calmer. Downstairs, Xander discussed Alex\u2019s recent betrayal with Sarah. Tate immediately grew concerned for Rachel, who lives at the DiMera mansion, and asked about Holly. Sophia revealed that Doug had talked to her about Holly\u2019s past issues with Tate, possibly shedding light on their breakup.<\/p>\n
