Despite speculation, especially with several of her <em data-start=\"172\" data-end=\"179\">X-Men<\/em> co-stars returning to the fold, Berry has made it clear that Storm won\u2019t be making a comeback.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"667\">The buzz started when Marvel Studios revealed the cast for <em data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"355\">Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>, with iconic characters like Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen), Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), Cyclops (James Marsden), and Beast (Kelsey Grammer) all set to return. Though Marvel hinted that more names could be announced later, Berry quickly put the rumors to rest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"669\" data-end=\"933\">In an interview with <em data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"708\">Black Girl Nerds<\/em>, she stated, \u201cKeep waiting. It\u2019s not going to be there,\u201d putting to bed any hope that fans had of seeing her back in Storm\u2019s cape. This has been a letdown for those who had hoped to see her wield Storm\u2019s iconic powers again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"1293\">Halle Berry originally brought Storm to life in the 2000 <em data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"999\">X-Men<\/em> film and continued playing her through <em data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1043\">X2<\/em> (2003), <em data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1075\">X-Men: The Last Stand<\/em> (2006), and <em data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1116\">X-Men: Days of Future Past<\/em> (2014).
