He mentioned that while he hasn\u2019t had a chance to view <em>The Final Reckoning<\/em> yet, he\u2019s been a fan of the entire <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em> series and considers it a fantastic franchise.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the film\u2019s director, Christopher McQuarrie, McCallany had high praise, describing him as \u201ca wonderful guy,\u201d as well as a talented writer and director. He also referred to McQuarrie as a great human being, and even shared a fun inside nickname for him, calling him \u201cMcQ.\u201d McCallany seemed genuinely excited to have worked with McQuarrie, stating it was a privilege to be part of the project under his direction.<\/p>\n<p>McCallany also had words of admiration for his co-star Tom Cruise. The actor, known for his role in <em>Wrath of Man<\/em>, acknowledged that Cruise is one of the biggest stars in the world and how lucky he felt to share the screen with such a global icon. McCallany expressed his belief that <em>The Final Reckoning<\/em> will be a huge success, especially because it marks the end of the long-running <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em> franchise.<\/p>\n<p>For those who aren\u2019t familiar, McCallany will be playing the role of Secretary of Defense Bernstein in the upcoming <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em> film, which will pick up right where <em>Mission: Impossible \u2014 Dead Reckoning (2023)<\/em> left off.
