Season 3 of The Wheel of Time<\/em><\/a> just wrapped, and honestly? It was the show\u2019s best season yet. Critics loved it, fans were into it, and the numbers show it, a whopping 97% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/strong> and 82% audience approval<\/strong>. Not bad for a fantasy series that\u2019s been fighting to win people over since day one.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the thing: as of April 18, 2025<\/strong>, Amazon still hasn\u2019t officially said yes<\/strong> to a Season 4. Which is kinda wild, considering how much money and effort they\u2019ve poured into the show, not to mention the major leap forward in quality this season. With all that invested, it\u2019s hard to imagine they\u2019d just call it quits now.<\/p>\n

Season 3 mostly adapted \u201cThe Shadow Rising,\u201d<\/strong> the fourth book in Robert Jordan\u2019s Wheel of Time<\/em> series,\u00a0 and one of the most beloved in the whole saga. But by jumping ahead (seasons 1 and 2 followed books 1 and 2), the story timeline has gotten a little messy. Some big characters, like Perrin, aren\u2019t even featured in Book 5, but obviously, they can\u2019t just leave him out of a whole season. So the writers are mixing and matching plotlines to keep the story moving and the main cast involved.<\/p>\n

That means if we do<\/em> get a Season 4, it likely won\u2019t follow just one book. Instead, it\u2019ll be a mash-up of multiple novels, and that makes the plot much harder to predict.<\/p>\n

Bottom line? Fans want more, the reviews are better than ever, and the show\u2019s finally hitting its stride. Now it\u2019s up to Amazon to spin the wheel again.<\/p>\n
