And it wasn\u2019t just the episodes\u2014he avoided even hearing <em data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"825\">that<\/em> song.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"1228\">Yes, <em data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"844\">that<\/em> song. <em data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"876\">\u201cI\u2019ll Be There for You\u201d<\/em> by The Rembrandts\u2014the anthem of a generation, but also, for Schwimmer, a lingering echo of a chapter he\u2019d closed. \u201cI\u2019ll be really honest,\u201d he sighed. \u201cThere was a time for quite a while that just hearing the theme song would really\u2026\u201d He trailed off, clearly implying a mix of emotional fatigue and overstimulation. \u201cI had just heard it so many times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1497\">Lucas quipped, \u201cWell, no one told you life was going to be that way,\u201d riffing off the song\u2019s famously clappy lyrics.
