Travis Kelce might be living his best life with pop superstar Taylor Swift, but it seems like his rising fame and whirlwind romance might be putting a bit of distance between him and some old pals\u2014at least, that\u2019s what sports commentator Nick Wright recently hinted at.<\/p>\n

On a new episode of his podcast, What\u2019s Wright? With Nick Wright<\/em>, the host opened up about how things have changed between him and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. According to Wright, he and Kelce haven\u2019t really<\/em> had a good, solid catch-up since Kelce\u2019s relationship with Swift turned serious.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrav and I haven\u2019t, like, talked talked<\/em> since he became serious with Taylor Swift,\u201d Wright said candidly in his April 1 episode. \u201cSince he turned into this A-list mega-celebrity.\u201d And let\u2019s be real\u2014Kelce\u2019s schedule has been jam-packed. Between his NFL commitments and jetting around the world with Taylor on her Eras Tour, there\u2019s hardly been time for a casual hangout.<\/p>\n

Wright also mentioned that they had hoped to meet up at last year\u2019s Super Bowl parade, but those plans were cut short due to the tragic shooting that took place at the event. Even though they haven\u2019t hung out in a while, Wright appreciated that Kelce gave him a shoutout on the New Heights<\/em> podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason. It was a small nod, but it meant a lot.<\/p>\n

Since going public in October 2023, Kelce and Swift have been one of pop culture\u2019s favorite power couples. Swift\u2019s been spotted cheering him on at Chiefs games, and Kelce\u2019s returned the favor by showing up at her concerts across the globe. The relationship is clearly serious\u2014and it\u2019s understandably shifted how Kelce splits his time.<\/p>\n

Back in June 2024, Kelce even opened up in an interview on Bussin\u2019 With The Boys<\/em> about what drew him to Swift, saying he admired how grounded and self-aware she is, despite her global fame. \u201cShe just keeps it so chill and so cool,\u201d he said, sounding totally smitten.<\/p>\n

So, while some of Kelce\u2019s friendships may have taken a backseat lately, it doesn\u2019t seem like they\u2019re lost\u2014just on pause.
