Tina Fey recently discussed why she doesn\u2019t have a brand alongside her acting career during an appearance on the Good Hang<\/em> podcast, hosted by her Saturday Night Live<\/em> co-star, Amy Poehler. Fey made some bold statements about her discomfort with wealthy people who pursue side hustles despite already earning well in their primary careers.<\/p>\n

The conversation began when Poehler introduced Fey to the podcast audience, humorously noting that Fey tends to be \u201clate to trends\u201d by 5 to 6 years, referring to her hosting a podcast. Poehler went on to compliment Fey\u2019s hair, even suggesting she should do a hair campaign or create a glasses line.<\/p>\n

To this, Fey jokingly responded, \u201cI do kind of hate money,\u201d and added that she\u2019s \u201cterrible with money.\u201d However, she quickly clarified her position, saying, \u201cI have a problem with rich people having a side hustle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Poehler pressed further, asking if Fey was referring to celebrities who branch out into business ventures beyond their careers, or if it was about podcasts. Fey explained that she doesn\u2019t have an issue with podcasts but believes there should be a limit when it comes to how much money someone is already earning. She admitted to judging those who take on such extra ventures when they already have more than enough.<\/p>\n
