Despite not having major Hollywood stars, <em>Adolescence<\/em> reached No. 1 in 71 countries during its debut week.<\/p>\n<p>Although it narrowly trailed <em>The Electric State<\/em>, a sci-fi film starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, which topped the list with 25.2 million views, <em>Adolescence<\/em> managed to outshine several other popular series on the platform. <em>The Electric State<\/em>, with its USD 320 million budget and star power, was expected to perform well but had relatively lower viewership compared to previous Netflix hits. For example, <em>Enola Holmes 2<\/em> earned 32 million views in its opening weekend, while <em>Damsel<\/em> garnered 35 million views within three days.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond <em>Adolescence<\/em>, other series also performed well. <em>Running Point<\/em> secured 6 million views in its third week, while <em>Zero Day<\/em> landed in third place with 4.4 million views in its fourth week. <em>Beauty in Black<\/em> and <em>Formula 1: Drive to Survive<\/em> also made strong impressions, with 3.9 million and 3.2 million views, respectively.
