In an emotional interview on <em>In Depth with Graham Bensinger<\/em>, Harrison revealed that he had tried multiple times to help Adam overcome his struggles with addiction, enrolling him in rehab on several occasions. Despite his efforts, the powerful opioid ultimately took Adam\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on his grief, Harrison admitted that he constantly second-guesses himself, wondering if there was more he could have done to save his son. \u201cWhen you lose a kid, you second-guess f\u2014ing everything,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Could I have done this? Could I have done that?\u2019 It goes through your brain constantly. There\u2019s not a day that I don\u2019t think about him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He shared how his mind is often overwhelmed with \u201cwhat if\u201d scenarios, imagining drastic measures he could have taken to prevent Adam from accessing drugs. \u201cWhat if I just grabbed him, locked him in the back of my truck, drove him to Oregon, and put him somewhere where he couldn\u2019t get drugs?\u201d he wondered aloud. \u201cThere is nothing worse than losing a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harrison also recalled a moment when Adam once broke into his house, leaving him too stunned to react immediately.
