They have a <strong data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"352\">top-10 draft pick, a new head coach and GM<\/strong>, and plenty of roster holes to fill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"393\" data-end=\"725\">According to <strong data-start=\"406\" data-end=\"438\">Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports<\/strong>, the Raiders could take an aggressive approach in the draft. In his latest <strong data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"528\">mock draft<\/strong>, he predicts the team will use the <strong data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"586\">No. 6 overall pick<\/strong> to select <strong data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"639\">Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty<\/strong>\u2014a move aimed at fixing what was the <strong data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"722\">worst rushing attack in the league in 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"1063\">But the Raiders wouldn\u2019t stop there. Trapasso also has them <strong data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"824\">trading back into the first round<\/strong>, dealing away <strong data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"944\">picks No. 37 (second round), No. 68 (third round), and No. 215 (sixth round) to the Minnesota Vikings<\/strong> in exchange for the <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"980\">No. 24 pick<\/strong>. With that pick, they would select <strong data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1061\">East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"1063\">\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1099\"><strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1097\">Who is Shavon Revel Jr.?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1419\">Revel had a <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1136\">short but impressive<\/strong> 2024 season before tearing his ACL, playing just <strong data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1201\">three games<\/strong> but racking up <strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1279\">eight tackles, two interceptions, and two pass deflections<\/strong>. Over his <strong data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1319\">college career (24 games)<\/strong>, he recorded <strong data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1416\">70 tackles, 15 pass deflections, three interceptions, and five tackles for loss<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1725\">At <strong data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1451\">6-foot-2 and 194 pounds<\/strong>, Revel fits the mold of the <strong data-start=\"1480\" data-end=\"1509\">big, physical cornerbacks<\/strong> that new head coach <strong data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1546\">Pete Carroll<\/strong> has traditionally favored. He has <strong data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1611\">elite ball-tracking skills<\/strong> and isn\u2019t afraid to get physical with ball carriers\u2014an area where the <strong data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1722\">Raiders\u2019 secondary needs improvement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1725\">\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1727\" data-end=\"1779\"><strong data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1777\">Why this Trade makes sense for the Raiders<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1780\" data-end=\"2064\">The Raiders <strong data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"1831\">desperately need help at cornerback<\/strong>.
