A fan who met Liam Payne hours before his tragic death claims the former One Direction star was \u201csuper drunk\u201d and \u201chigh\u201d during their encounter. Payne was found dead after falling from a balcony at his hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Carola Gauna, the fan who met Payne, shared her emotional experience on social media, saying, \u201cHe smiled at me and sang. I got goosebumps.\u201d Recalling the encounter, Gauna said Payne was clearly intoxicated and behaving erratically, but still managed to share a moment with her. \u201cI\u2019m one of the last people he spoke to. I\u2019m one of the last people he sang to,\u201d she said, overwhelmed with disbelief.<\/p>\n
Shortly after the meeting, Payne reportedly fell from his hotel room\u2019s balcony. According to Buenos Aires police, they had been responding to reports of \u201can aggressive man who may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol.\u201d Hotel staff later revealed that Payne had been \u201cdestroying the entire room\u201d before the fall.<\/p>\n
