U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to pledged its support the country will never falter for Israel. He condemned Hamas\u2019 \u201clitany of brutality and inhumanity\u201d as evoking \u201cthe worst of ISIS.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe message that I bring to Israel is this: you may be strong enough on your own to defend yourself, but as long as America exists, you will never, ever have to,\u201d said Blinken in remarks alongside PM Netanyahu. He assured that the United States will always be by their side.<\/p>\n
The top U.S. diplomat arriving in Israel is another way of showcasing their support, as the country fights Hamas\u2019 deadly attack. The Biden administration seeks to bolster the country\u2019s defenses and stop the conflict from either spreading or expanding.\u00a0The visit also comes as U.S. seeks help to rescue the hostages held in captivity in Gaza, which also includes Americans.<\/p>\n
Blinken said that among the dead in Israel, are 25 American citizens. He condemned the attacks and claimed that babies were slaughtered and young people were burned alive.<\/p>\n
