The New York Times\u2019 newest puzzle game, Connections<\/em>, challenges players to categorize a set of 16 words into four hidden groups by discovering how they relate to one another. The puzzle refreshes daily at midnight, and like Wordle<\/em>, players can track their winning streaks and compare scores with friends.<\/p>\n

How to Play Connections<\/em><\/h3>\n

In Connections<\/em>, you\u2019re presented with a grid of 16 words. Your goal is to sort them into four groups of four words each, based on how they\u2019re connected. These categories can range from video game titles to shades of a color or even restaurant chains. It\u2019s a bit of a brain teaser, but there\u2019s only one correct solution.<\/p>\n

You can shuffle and rearrange the words to help see patterns more clearly. Each group of words is color-coded once you\u2019ve solved it. The yellow group tends to be the easiest, while green, blue, and purple groups are progressively harder.<\/p>\n
