In a move that could alter the dynamics of 2024 elections, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has just declared that he will be continuing his run for the president as an independent candidate, ending his long-short pursuit of the Democratic nomination against an incumbent president.<\/p>\n
Speaking to a crowd of supporters outside the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Kennedy said that he represented a \u201cpopulist movement\u201d which defies both right and left ideologies.<\/p>\n
Kennedy, who is a leading vaccine skeptic and purveyor of conspiracy theories, said the Democrats are scared that he will ruin the 2024 election for President Biden, while the Republicans that he will spoil the upcoming election for Trump. \u201cThe truth is, they\u2019re both right. Since announcing his candidacy in April, the 69-year-old has been one of the lead critics of Democratic leadership and has accused of \u201chijacking the party machinery\u201d to stifle his challenge to Biden.
