Connections<\/strong> is the newest puzzle game from the New York Times, and it\u2019s a fun challenge! In this game, your job is to sort through a group of 16 words and categorize them into four secret groups based on how they\u2019re related to each other. Every night at midnight, a fresh puzzle pops up with varying levels of difficulty. Just like in Wordle, you can track your winning streak and even compete with your friends to see who scores higher.<\/p>\n

How to Play NYT Connections<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When you start a game of Connections, you\u2019ll see a grid filled with 16 words. Your goal is to arrange these words into four groups of four by figuring out what connects them. The themes could be anything from video game titles and book series to different shades of red or names of chain restaurants.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, you might find words that could fit into more than one category, but remember, there\u2019s only one correct answer for each grouping. You can shuffle the grid around to help you spot the connections better.<\/p>\n

Each group is color-coded for difficulty: yellow is the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Once you think you\u2019ve identified four words that belong together, just hit \u201cSubmit.\u201d If you\u2019re right, those words will disappear from the grid, and you\u2019ll learn the theme that links them. If you guess wrong, it counts as a mistake, and you only get four wrong guesses before the game ends.<\/p>\n
