Connections is the latest puzzle craze from the New York Times. In this game, you\u2019re given a pool of 16 words, and your goal is to sort them into four hidden categories based on how they relate to each other. The puzzle refreshes daily at midnight, and each one comes with its own level of difficulty. Like Wordle, you can track your streak and see how you stack up against friends.<\/p>\n

How to Play NYT Connections<\/h3>\n

In Connections, you\u2019ll see a grid of 16 words. Your task is to sort them into four groups of four, based on how they connect. These groups could be anything, like video game franchises, shades of red, types of restaurants, or even characters from movies.<\/p>\n

You can shuffle the words around to help spot the links. While some words might seem like they fit in multiple groups, there\u2019s only one correct way to organize them.<\/p>\n

Each group you find will be color-coded. The easiest set is in yellow, then green, blue, and finally purple (the trickiest group). Select four words, hit \u201cSubmit,\u201d and if you\u2019re correct, those words will disappear from the grid, revealing their theme. If you\u2019re wrong, it counts as a mistake, and you only get four mistakes before the game ends.<\/p>\n
