In her new show <em>Agatha All Along<\/em>, Hahn\u2019s character, Agatha Harkness, finds herself in a Mare of Easttown-inspired narrative within the magical world of Marvel.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Agatha All Along<\/em>, Hahn\u2019s character is trapped in a spell and ends up in a crime drama twist called <em>Agnes of Westview<\/em>, where she takes cues from Winslet\u2019s detective Mare Sheehan. Hahn confessed to The Hollywood Reporter, \u201cI had binged <em>Mare of Easttown<\/em> when it came out, and I was obsessed with it. So <em>Agnes of Westview<\/em> was definitely a love letter to that genre of show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The spin-off series centers on Agatha Harkness, who, with the help of a teen, breaks free from her spell. As she explores the trials to regain her powers, she also seeks to uncover the teen\u2019s true intentions. Originally introduced in <em>WandaVision<\/em>, Agatha has become a central character in her own right, and now she\u2019s taking the lead in her own show.<\/p>\n<p>Hahn shared her surprise and excitement at landing this role, saying, \u201cI never would have seen this in my future. I thought it was something that I wouldn\u2019t find myself in.\u201d She was thrilled to break new ground with her role as a witch in the MCU, admitting, \u201cI was so excited. I was just giddy.
