But during her sophomore year, she witnessed her classmates \u201cpaying thousands of dollars\u201d to go on \u201cextreme diets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn my mind, I knew that this wasn\u2019t normal at first but after watching their habits and watching them lose weight and watching them be so satisfied over this, it became more normalized for me,\u201d Earle admitted on Thursday\u2019s episode of her \u2018Hot Mess\u2019 podcast.<\/p>\n<p>Being graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School, the influencer claimed, that looking back, her school was very toxic when it came to girls\u2019 relationship with food. She said that she went from \u201csomeone who had a very healthy relationship with food\u201d to \u201csomeone who did not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old mentioned that she transitioned from eating normal lunch to a small salad without dressing.<\/p>\n<p>Earle\u2019s eating disorder got at its worse when she would return home hungry and would binge eat, only to later \u201cpurge\u201d out of guilt for consuming calories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TikTok star Alix Earle got emotional while revealing that she suffered from eating disorder during her \u201ctoxic\u201d high school.
