{"id":4971,"date":"2023-10-03T14:08:47","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T18:08:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usa.businessupturn.com\/?p=4971"},"modified":"2023-10-03T14:08:47","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T18:08:47","slug":"donald-trump-says-he-will-testify-in-new-york-trial-against-him-at-appropriate-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/usa\/donald-trump-says-he-will-testify-in-new-york-trial-against-him-at-appropriate-time\/4971\/","title":{"rendered":"Donald Trump says he will testify in New York trial against him at \u2018appropriate time\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former President Donald Trump stated that he plans to testify at the New York trial, wherein he has been accused of engaging in yearlong pattern of massive business fraud.<\/p>\n<p>In a conversation with the reporters during the break time of the trial, former president shared that he will take the witness stand \u201cat an appropriate time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He is named as one of the potential witness on the list submitted by his own attorneys, and by lawyers for New York Attorney General Letitia James, whose $250 million lawsuit is the subject of the trial.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has occasionally attacked James and also the judge Arthur Engoron, who has been conducting this trial without jury.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Engoron\u2019s principal law clerk became target of Trump\u2019s attacks as the latter took to his social media and shared a post that mentioned her full name and a photo of her posing with Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, as they both smiled for the camera.<\/p>\n<p>In his repost, Trump called the clerk, \u201cSchumer\u2019s girlfriend\u201d and accused her of \u201crunning this case against [him].\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Well lookie lookie\u2026<br \/>In a new post from President Trump, it\u2019s REVEALED Schumer\u2019s girlfriend, Allison R.
