Acer has announced the launch of its first 3D camera, the SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo, ahead of Computex 2024 next week. This camera is capable of capturing both 3D photos and videos, which can be viewed directly on the camera, through a VR headset, or on a 3D display.<\/p>\n

The camera features 8 megapixels per eye, with an aperture of f\/2.0 and a focal length of 3mm. It supports photo resolutions of 7680 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160, and video resolutions in three side-by-side (SBS) formats: 7680 x 2160 at 30 fps, 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps, and 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps.<\/p>\n
Additional features of the SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera include auto and touch focus, electronic image stabilization (EIS), and a manual mode. It also boasts a built-in \u201cselfie mirror\u201d and a weatherproof chassis with a sleek shale black coat and aluminum-lined lens cap and mirror for extra durability. The camera weighs around half a pound and includes a 1500 mAh battery, a built-in stereo microphone, and a microSD card slot, and it charges via USB-C.<\/p>\n
A standout feature is the camera\u2019s ability to stream directly to platforms like YouTube and conduct video calls on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.
