The Chinese embassy claimed that the report is riddled with contradictions and ideological bias and lacks credibility. It uses terms like \u201cmay,\u201d \u201cmight,\u201d \u201cpotential\u201d and other misleading words. The spokesperson said that such contradictory statements undermine the report\u2019s validity and suggest a \u201cdeliberate attempt to mislead the public.\u201d \u201cCanada has a record of grossly interfering in China\u2019s domestic affairs on issues concerning China\u2019s core interests, including Taiwan, Xinjiang, Xizang and Hong Kong.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt seeks to undermine China\u2019s security and stability by overtly and covertly condoning and supporting separatist activities.
